Alloy Apps Workspaces - allow user to define number to represent "100%" for % based reporting, progress bars, charts etc

We issue winter gully cleaning jobs as a seasonal task each year (November to April).

I have some map layer styles set up to display these jobs with various queries applied such as 'complete jobs' / 'complete jobs - gully cleaned' / 'complete jobs - gully not cleaned' etc.

These map layers only include jobs from a specified list of Projects. (the projects that I raise for 'that season') therefore I am only seeing the information for the relevant period and I can use this to monitor progress and performance.

When I pull that into a workspace as a data source, the progress bar and percentage doesn't align with (for example) the total jobs completed in that period. The numerical figures are correct but the progress bar / charts etc make it look like fewer jobs were completed. I think this is because it is calculating the % against 'all' of the job records, not just the ones from my particular list of projects.

I'd like to be able to set up a workspace to use for monitoring of these tasks within each winter period so all % calculations and charts are based only on a specific list of projects (as with my map layers)... or if this is not possible, I'd like to be able to specify a known total in the widgets that would be used to represent "100%".
