Plot Data Explorer Query Results on Map

Currently you would have to recreate your query as a layer/style but it would be useful for the ability to build a query in data explorer and then be able to view these results on the map, rather than only being able to see the 1 item you select on the map.
This would also remove the need to build & delete layers.

From my perspective, it would be great if I could pop in and out of a map where the results of a data explorer query were plotted, I would need an identifier to link the potted object on the map to the object on the data explorer.

What would be the driver behind this? Is it to quickly dip in and out of items and view where they are, or is this to make it easier to define an AQS query first before creating a layer (and avoiding having to save, exit and reload the AQS)

Ability to view query from data explorer as a layer style

It would be very useful to have the ability to view queries from data explorer on the map, without having to create a layer style and copy and paste the AQS from data explorer. If this could be added as an option within the hamburger menu it would...

Highlight selected items in data explorer on map

Merged
As a data explorer user, I want to be able to select items (clicking on the icons) and for these to be highlighted/displayed on the map upon closing DE, so that I can visualise the location of the items chosen.
