Not all default design colours are available to pick. It would be good to be able to pick your own colour or type in a hex colour code.

Missing Colours From Main Palette

Merged
rather oddly, the standard colour palette does not contain the colour used for Street Lights, Belisha Beacons, or Feeder Pillars. If an error occurs during editing, or trialling alternative colours, then the original colour cannot be restored.
