Customise the tabs in the item viewer through the design editor

When editing a design, would it be possible to add a feature where you can specify an attribute that merits its own tab when you're looking at items under that design? A bit like an extension of the stencil I suppose. This could then carry over into the mobile app.

One use case for this in our organisation is for Ash Dieback inspections. When an ADB inspection is raised, we carry over the photos from the previous inspection so the inspector can see if there has been any changes to the condition of the tree. For this, we have a custom attribute called 'Previous Inspection photos', but we also have to move the photos to the standard attachments tab so that the inspector can see them. Then, when new photos are added, the 2 sets of photos all sit in the attachments which can become confusing when going back and looking at old inspections.

    Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the idea. We will not be taking this idea forward as a similar outcome can be achieved using the item canvas feature within our new Alloy apps.

    Thanks,

    Andy
