Simplify and remember search settings in Asset Management Apps

Hi all,


Asset Management Classic has the facility for convenient search settings, giving the user immediate access to sorting and collections. Once set, the system 'remembers' the users search settings (I presume with cookies?)


In Asset Management Apps, this seems to have become more complicated, now defaulting to the AQS query builder which most users don't know how to fully utilize. Moreover, after clicking 'Apply' the settings are not saved and you have to reapply them every time you return to the search window.


Can we implement the existing search settings options and functionality in Asset Management Apps? I think it's useful to have the AQS builder option as well to add complex filtering, so the ideal solution is to bring everything together.
