Map Picker currently does not allow users to select items when in cluster view on a layer. Layers can be changed to 'basic' visualisation, however this functionality does not work for layers that have over 500 items.
Hi, thanks for raising this idea, I've merged it with an already existing idea that suggests a similar feature. Please do keep tracking either of these idea records for updates.
This is a much needed enhancement, and it's required ASAP.
